Navigating the Noise: From Insta-Therapy to Real Healing

Dear beautiful soul,

Today, I want to share a personal story that has shaped my journey and brought me to this moment. Over 10 years ago, I stepped into the realm of Instagram with a heartfelt intention: to shed light on the emerging awareness of narcissistic abuse and offer therapeutic insights to those who were desperately seeking answers.

Back then, the platform was mostly buzzing with "experts"—well-meaning survivors who shared their hard-won wisdom from their own experiences.

I believed in the power of collective healing, and in the strength of shared stories. But there was a problem—a significant one. Narcissistic abuse leaves deep imprints of trauma, and even seasoned professionals find it incredibly complex to treat.

Complicating matters further, vulnerable individuals were being targeted with non-evidence-based healing programs, adding confusion to their already delicate journey.

Feeling the weight of the noise and the lack of tangible progress in the public discourse, I took a step back from Instagram. I needed time to reflect, to unravel my own place in this vast and intricate tapestry.

During my hiatus, I delved into my own peer-reviewed research, pouring over the stories of more than 2,000 survivors.

I also sat with almost 400 individuals in one-on-one sessions, absorbing their experiences and uncovering the techniques and tools that could truly guide them toward reclaiming their lives.

It was a pilgrimage of growth, empathy, and relentless pursuit of truth. I witnessed the depths of pain and the indomitable spirit of the human heart.

I discovered the importance of evidence-based approaches, the nuanced dance of healing trauma, and the transformative impact of skilled professionals who could navigate the intricate labyrinth of recovery with grace and compassion.

Now, armed with this knowledge and a fierce desire to make a meaningful difference, I'm ready to return to the public conversation. But this time, my love, it's not just about snippets of insight or general wisdom.
